    Very worrisome. Wish solo hikers would have a plan to check in with someone when they are back. Hope they find this young man but it has been a while and as a day hiker he unlikely had food and water or shelter,

    This reminds me of Maureen Kelly that went off into the Washington woods wearing nothing but a fanny pack on a spiritual quest and was never seen again. Both women seem to be such free spirits!
