That's right. From memory in the 90s you didn't surrender the passport. They just used to cut a large strip of the back cover off when you got a new passport.- limnody

Most likely toilet would have been like one of these. This is a very well known brand Porta Potti Qube 365 - 21 Litres You add freshwater to a holding tank to flush and additives to the tank to treat inputs and control odours. MOO -
