CBC has a correspondent providing a "live blog" of the trial proceedings for anyone following the case. Unfortunately a direct link will not open the stream,
and so anyone interested will have to navigate through the main page.

The pre-trial hearing with a live tweed feed for anyone following the case (source link below); they are being tried for first degree murder:
The case of two people charged in the death of Loretta Saunders is in court today for a pre-trial hearing.
The proceeding in Halifax is to determine...
Similar to OkieGranny's post above, but contains a few additional comments by the lawyers:

I apologize if this comes off as pure speculation, but I think that imagining different scenarios could be important in cracking this case. And so to weigh in on the case in theory:
To me, it looks like a person or persons, injured or otherwise, were taken out of the side door of AL and K's...
I just found an article from the Calgary Sun (the date says that it is from June 7th) that says that
Nathan’s father, Rod O’Brien, told the Sun a reward consisting of a “large sum” would be announced Wednesday in relation to the search for his family. The amount could...
It seems that BL's lawyer has been found guilty of sexual assault in the case mentioned above. Hopefully the justice for Loretta's case will be following soon.

Thanks for the reply LoyalSleuth,
This is the first case that I've followed, and so I have been (perhaps necessarily) following it quite closely. I thought that some new discussion may arisen in the group due to recent activity in the case. I was simply looking to glean insights from all...
I am sure that the Loretta Saunders - Case Discussion group is a mix of fact and hearsay, but I wonder if anyone has had the opportunity to look at what's going on in it--I requested to join but it seems that I have blocked from the group . . .

In considering the option of there being employees in the building, I wonder if anyone has checked out landlords/superintendents in relation to this case?
elepher50 et al,
Any thoughts on why this case keeps getting put over?
Another source speaking about how the case has been put over until the 22nd for a "preliminary inquiry".

The stepfather is obviously highly suspect. I just can't believe that the investigation would have ruled him out if it was--it seems like there was every opportunity to pin this on him.
True--V&B are going to court (tomorrow I believe), so things should start to pick up again. There has been nothing new in the news about this case for at least a week now.
I wasn't able to find the main thread on Robert Pickton, but wanted to post a recent CBC link that shows that his victim's children are receiving $4.9Million in compensation. Please share on the main thread if you know where it is located. Small consolation--but it's something.
Just for clarification: is websleuths dedicated to fact finding (via the media) and posting those "facts", or to theorizing possibilities? As a new member, I find that theorizing is discouraged on WS--perhaps this is not the case.
