:seeya: Howdy! After a short WS sabbatical after the CM Arias penalty phase non-verdict, I thought I'd venture over to this thread, and try to get up to speed before the trial starts. (Rusty's murder happened just a few miles from where I live, so I just can't ignore it.) Should be an...
:praying: June 4... What a horrific day to remember. Saying some extra prayers for Travis' family and friends today, and lighting a candle in his memory at 5:30pm Arizona time... :blue:
:goodpost: Thanks for this insightful post, anagrammy!

When I heard Samantha say during her VI statement that Travis would always strive to see the best in people, I remember thinking to myself "That was his ultimate downfall... how ironic and sad..." :(

Just for the record, I'm not angry with any of the jurors, just confused as to why they gave up after only 13 hours of deliberation. And I'm heartbroken for the Alexander family that they didn't get the case resolution they need and deserve. They've already been through so...

By a show of thanks for this post, who thinks we would have had a real Life or Death Verdict if (just hypothetically) JUROR #8 had not been released, but made it into the deliberation room, and served as the Foreman??

So good luck with reaching...
:seeya: Hope all my WS Pals are doing okay today!
I'm still speechless about the non-verdict... Just reading, viewing, digesting at the moment. So proud of the 8 jurors who stood their ground on the DP... Wondering if the 4 anti-DPs were ever truly qualified for a DP jury in the first...

I'm concerned about that, too, and I believe this remote possibility of parole played a big part in hanging this jury. It would have been so much less difficult to get a unanimous LWOP verdict, IMO. I can't breathe. :anguish:
Now that the judge's admonition has been lifted, these jurors are in for some real eye-opening footage. I hate that so much about CMja was kept from them. :furious:
:truce: I'm changing the Juanettes Kickline from DP to JU => Jury Unanimity. I will be fine with whatever this jury decides, as long as they are unanimous! I can't imagine the Alexander family having to endure another several weeks of trial with a new penalty phase jury. :(
Again...
