In reading OP's detailed recounting of his actions that night (in the quoted post below), it's striking how this compares to his constant insistence under cross-examination that he "cannot recall" or "doesn't remember" the precise sequence of events or his movements.
SA legal tradition requires the witness/defendant to address all of his/her responses to the judge (in this case a woman, hence "My Lady") even though he/she is being questioned by a lawyer. Can be quite confusing for those not familiar with the process (myself included until I finally realized...
I wasn't able to listen to the testimony live, but I saw this tweet from journalist Alex Crawford re: the lights in the bathroom:

#OscarPistorius Insists no light on in broom as he edged his way in. 'Wasnt sure if they were in toilet, on ladder...
Not sure these points have already been mentioned - too much to try to catch up on! Some discrepancies that really stuck out for me:
- He says he whispered to Reeva to call the police before entering the bathroom; it seems extremely negligent and unlikely to me that he wouldn't have waited for...
Is it possible that the State actually does believe OP's version of events but is simply going through the motions of playing devil's advocate for the purpose of giving him a fair trial? Could that be why they've presented such a weak case and are ending it on such a weak note? Does that happen...
I can't agree that these texts reveal a relationship that simply has its "ups and downs" - these are suggestive of frequent psychological manipulation that comes from a place of jealousy and control. OP snapping at her to "stop chewing gum", mocking her accent, loudly criticizing her in front of...
Note some of the commentary in that same article from the initial investigation... could she really have been shot first in the main bedroom?
"Model Reeva was killed by 9mm pistol shots fired through the locked bathroom door at around 3am on Valentines Day.
She was hit in the head and body...
Re: the damaged bedroom door. Could Reeva have damaged it by trying desperately to get out of the bedroom during a struggle? Does the door require a key that she may not have had access to? And then perhaps her only refuge was the toilet to which she had easier access to the key?
Also, I can't...
Not sure about anyone else, but I'm finding the slow pace of the trial and questionable witness testimony to be exhausting, and thus haven't been checking the forum as much today. I just hope that Nel is indeed building up to revealing a solid case for the State as others have suggested rather...
Just saw this tweet from a journalist in the court room:
Alex Crawford ‏@AlexCrawfordSky 3m
#OscarPistorius To clarify; there're 4 holes in the door. They're all low down but spread out. There're also two police markers, much higher
If all the bullet holes are low down in the door, was...
Re: speculation about whether Reeva was covering her head with her arms (which seems very likely to me) - I'm curious as to whether anyone knows if an expert will be called to reconstruct the most likely scenario based on the post mortem findings/crime scene... or was it the ME's job to...
Hi all - I've been following this thread closely since the beginning of the trial but this is my first post. All of your information updates and analysis have been so informative and thoughtful! We can only hope the lawyers on both sides are giving this much thought to every bit of evidence...
