Just like Valessa Robinson, Heather D'Aoust (and many many more)... These cases are heartbreaking because of how blind these girls are. It never ever should have to resort to murder (im leaving out self-defense: too much of a debate). Its not worth it!

I agree. I've always thought that Darin was more involved than they said he was. I don't think he did anything to hurt the kids except defend Darlie when he probably saw what she did.

I think neighbors are scared to call it in because of any retaliation or backlash. The fact that she was disabled makes this so much harder to read. I'm sure she understood what was going on. Even in cases like Bianca Piper who was mentally disabled and had anger issues. Her mom made her walk...
