Very common in divorce cases where large amounts of child support are due to require payor to take out a policy FBO the ex-spouse (so that they will continue to receive $$$ for support in event of payor's death.)
I don't think it was much of a struggle -- Georgia took them down 1x1 with grace and ease, and the heavy fact-gathering phase is over. I also think the evidence is so stacked against DA (at a minimum) that letting her go would be a true miscarriage of justice.
Thanks for making my question better!
Perjury is a high bar -- is that necessary for an ethical violation in FL? Seems from some basic searching like the bar is lower, but I'm not a FL lawyer.

To me, as a mom with children the same ages as hers -- there is NO world in which I see fire trucks and cops swarming the block where my ex lives on a day when he is the caregiver to our kids and just move on and go to lunch with girlfriends.

Question for the criminal defense/prosecutors who follow this case: is it surprising to you that CA and co haven't been arrested yet? I'm an attorney but not a litigator -- so I'm basing this on very old law school lessons in probable cause... but my goodness, I feel like they have PC in...
Hi everyone.
