I run (sometimes walk/run) 7-8kms most mornings and have only taken a water bottle once and decided it was too annoying to carry and never did it again. I’ve only felt the need once to stop at a public tap to get a small drink. Other than that, no water. So I can see her not taking any water. I...
Could it be that authorities/family/friends/locals were already out looking for her at that time, so any movements of Samantha or anyone else of interest would have been seen/noticed/accounted for by/after that time?
My understanding is that the cctv cameras range didn’t reach the end of the driveway/gate, so they couldn’t see which way Samantha went once she allegedly left the property.
I hear you, on all points. It was self reported on social media in an ungraceful way, but it was important to get the information out. But we also don’t know how she was treated specifically when she reported it to police, so who knows? Not me.
I heard about it at the time it happened. She posted about it on social media, it was picked up by the media. She felt very let down by police. She was terribly bullied online when she posted about it, it was pretty gross. Lots of people victim blaming, accusing her of making it up etc. Of...
I often walk long distances in bushland and I often stop to take photos with my phone and will venture off the track (being very careful) if I see something interesting (animal, etc), so if she is anything like me, I can see it being quite normal/reasonable ♀️
Exactly, police confirmed in press conference earlier today that they could see that she left the property, so presumably they would also see if anyone else left the property and if they did they would have to thoroughly account for their time and whereabouts. So can we assume either no one else...
I’m wondering if anyone can confirm if this was the actual location of her phone or just the nearest tower for her phone to ping from, so it may not be the actual location of the phone?
I’ve been thinking about Euan and his family a lot. I hope he is okay. I really hope he just needed a break from things and will come back when he’s ready.
It must be so difficult for his family, being so far away.
If you're into podcasts, Casefile have done a very good episode about the Tynong murders: Episode 46.
And they've just released an update, regarding this episode, in relation to the recent reward announcements and police media releases, which I found very informative.
You can find the original...
Yes, I did hear Insp. Seel mention in two seperate radio interviews on 3AW that he felt the dog being missing, and turning up when it did, as being a "distraction", and he believed it was not relevant to the case. Both times it was during the morning show with Neil Mitchell, just in case you...
You might be either misinterpreting what I wrote, or perhaps reading more into it, than what I actually wrote. And I definitely wasn't saying that just because something hadn't been mentioned that it wasn't so. You're assuming a lot.
I'm going to leave it at that.
