While that could be the case, it’s interesting to look back on now that people are speculating about Google search terms. We already know police had a search warrant for the property, so clearly had more evidence than a tip phoned in. Police could have come up with a seemingly convincing bluff…...
At 1:47, CP says investigators told him that he googled NG or her number… which does sort of explain the nexus between him having delivered a package to her (which he thought was a possibility) or something in the weeks prior… if he had searched her address to make the delivery, he may have sent...
If that is RA, his whole business is selling cartel training to law enforcement. I’ve attended a couple of his events and he certainly likes to hype up cartel capabilities and activities.

I’m not convinced there would be much exculpatory from the handling of the scene. The DNA, for instance, seems to have been processed from the initial search of the house.
The sheriff said the DNA was collected from the crime scene the morning investigators processed Nancy Guthrie’s home but...
I mean, that first part sounds like pretty basic kidnapping strategy, though. If you figure out the kidnapper, you have a wide variety of options to then find the victim. You can only go so far trying to find the victim - local area searches and posting her photo everywhere. Which I’m pretty...
I think the only reason he grabbed the lantana with his left hand is that’s the side the bigger bush was on when he stepped over to the area. He was being dumb with his white light use and was clearly having trouble seeing out there, so I think he just naturally arrived with the plant on his...

This is much more common on the south side of the border… you’re far more likely to run into extortion/sextortion schemes on the US side.
One of the reasons this has made such big news is that kidnappings for ransom are exceedingly rare in the US. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if a good...
While this is interesting and I think there’s something there… Google Trends is also not super reliable. I forget which event in particular, Brown or the DC shooting of the National Guardsmen, one could look at the name for a brief period of time and see what appeared to be searches in the days...
I don’t think this is likely if we are assuming at least some of the ransom notes were legitimate. I would also think there is probably some logical middle ground between “oops we robbed the wrong house” and “better kidnap the sole occupant and hold her for ransom.”

Sorry if I seem heated… just want the actual facts of the situation to be understood. I’ll even go as far as to say that I don’t even care if someone believes it was a modified image… as long as they don’t try to pass that off as anything but speculation.
As far as why he doesn’t have the...
What if the actual theory of the crime doesn’t match your theory of the crime? What if, for instance, this was a spur of the moment decision for whatever reason and they grabbed whatever gun was available - one they may have purchased locally in the last year for unrelated reasons?
This is why...
