Speaking of the ladder, has anyone heard which Home Depot it was purchased from? I only ask because I'm very familiar with one that's about 30 minutes south of there in Hampton Township on State Route 8 (William Flynn Highway).
On an unrelated and less trivial note, do we know anything about...
A comment or two about the masks: I had a student who still wore one well into 2023 because he liked that it hid his facial expressions from others. (His words, not mine).
Outside of that, I only know one other person who is still wearing one regularly; she works as a cashier and for all I know...
I've been thinking about this more as well. It seems like this kid more or less wanted notoriety.
Many younger people don't have a fully-formed political ideology, although the recent high-profile elections have seemed to change this. I've actually worked with some middle schoolers who have...
I've been processing all of this for a few days, and I have more questions than anything. I'm about an hour away from where this happened so it hit far too close to home. I even knew someone who almost went to this rally but backed out last minute. My church is only about 20 minutes from there...
I just saw this one on Doe Network and am surprised I haven't heard of it sooner.
I'm very familiar with the area Terri disappeared from. I have several students who attend the same school Terri graduated from. Highland Park is near the Pittsburgh Zoo. It's also near the Route 28 corridor...
Bumping this thread, as I was thinking of this case at the moment. I happen to be parked in the parking lot of the Waterworks Mall right now, not too far from Springdale. Have there been any updates?
I came here to comment on this latest development, which I just read ten minutes ago, and it looks like we've already got a good conversation going on here regarding it.
It's sick to see people doing this for attention, but keep in mind, they could actually have a mental condition that is...
I came here to say the same thing about FDF's death. I'm glad we got a lot of things out of him when we did, but I still want to know if he was the one who hit Sharon in April 1990. I still believe it was him or an accomplice--and think he did something in that hospital room.
So glad to see this one solved. I've been following this one since I first became interested in cold cases back in 2001--and it was the final unidentified one that's been on my list of cases I've followed since then (along with Suzanne Sevakis, Dawn Olanick, Joseph Zarelli, and Tammy Alexander)...
Also, does anyone have a link to this podcast I am hearing about?
Will need to find a fellow true crime buddy so I can watch the Netflix documentary. Thankfully I have a few around here who I need to catch up with soon and this will be a perfect excuse. I don't subscribe to streaming but...
Sometimes, the suffering someone goes through only leads to them wanting to make the world better for everyone else.
I know someone who has always been upbeat, encouraging, and beyond kind to everyone. When I first met this individual, I was in a grade in school where most people are rather...
I agree 100% on the hairstyle thing being confusing!! I can give you a good example from my younger years, actually...
I had a friend I met in 9th grade. Immediately before 10th grade started, she changed her hairstyle up completely. Guess who I had trouble finding on the first day of school...
Definitely lots to consider here for future investigations. With Dawn, we did know some of her demographics*, but let's think about another case in NJ: Atlantic Highlands Unidentified. We have just the skeleton and who knows if there were stereotypes and the like used.
* keep in mind it's not...
