Well I've heard both ways...that Cinnamon was shut behind bathroom and others have said she(?) was loose in the house. Don't know for sure. You know in a case that has so little clues, sometimes it's the small things like this that can lead them in the right direction.
I think, IMO, if...
I do think Sherrill was the target. It's interesting to think that Suzie wasn't expected home and that's why Sherrill was targeted that particular night. The dog thing really baffles me. I think we determined that the dog was actually shut behind the bathroom door. If these were hardened...
*Let's not discount or underplay a dog's scent ability. I'm not sure what kind of tracking dog was used but "air scent" dogs can locate a person in a forest without even knowing their entry point, miles away. Do dogs sometimes miss things, of course, but I wouldn't say we can't rely on them. As...
If we follow the clues in the house, them taking off makeup, changing clothes, and turning tv on. This doesn't fit what the authorities believed happened. Someone could have surely followed them home, but sat and watched the house(allowing them time to relax) before they attacked. So, I actually...
I also doubt Cox's involvement but agree he can't be ruled out. His target could have been Sherrill, we do not know if he saw her or knew her from somewhere.
Larry Hall always said his brother was obsessed with one of the women and abducted them with another man. I know he's probably crazy but...
Ok this is not close pic...but here's the front of the house taken by investigators.
Which light? I'm thinking it was the one beside front door facing down. Obviously because the other one is intact.

No logically bulbs do not fall off. However, I've had bulbs that were missing screws and really not stable at all. Not everyone makes repairs like they should at home. If it had broken previously I would think the second or even third bulb would be more secure to prevent it from breaking again...
I think many people believed Stacy was the wild card. More likely to not trust and to put up a fight. They suspected she maybe was restrained in some way and forcefully taken out last.
This would be kind of hard to believe with no damage to doors or walls or things inside the house.
I do not...
Yes....I believe after almost 14 years that someone would have found her backpack, shoes, or clothing. Things have a way of being found.
Even if her bones were scattered or not visible.
I personally do not believe that she was so far in the wild terrain that searchers, hikers, landowners...
The grave robbers were each charged with felony offenses and were facing up to 7 years.
I'm not sure if they ever were convicted.
They passed polygraphs but the police could never confirm their alibi. One left town soon after the women went missing and missed his court date, he was later...
I don't know where you could read FBI files, but this has some good details, if you haven't seen it already. http://streeterfamilyblogg.blogspot.com/p/ap-and-others.html?m=1
Also this MSM article has a good timeline...
You know I can entertain this theory...except one detail. Sherrill's son was adamant that she would not even walk room to room without her cigarettes. If she left with someone she knew and thought was safe, why wouldn't she take her smokes and handbag?
Unless you're saying they brought that...
Yes the fact that a friend of Sherrill's last spoke to her around 11pm, puts her at home alone then. The timeline when the girls arrive is pretty accurate and is taken as fact from most sources.
Friends of the family have made comments that Sherrill had problems sleeping, made worse by moving...
Yes there have been several cases where a single assailant has gained control of whole families...with the father home. Put a gun to someone's head and the rest comply.
Now abducting 3 does make it more complicated. I'm glad you mentioned this case.
Obviously no one was hurt badly in the house...
I do think, of course, there is a chance that Suzie was the target. Although, I will say the the FBI profiler involved in the case did make comments that Sherrill was likely the target and it was sexual in nature. I know they're not always right, but I do personally agree with this theory.
The...
