I thought it funny at the end of sentencing when Nel asked about op's right to own firearms. He had to name the firearms act 60/2000 three times before jm got it. Then she said "yes,I thought so"! Think Nel had a little smile on his face then! I also had a little chuckle when the reporter...

OP also said to Nel during cross that he & Roux "reworked" his story after bail or hearing prosecution witnesses (can't quite remember when). Nel did pick up on it but OP corrected himself and said he meant reviewed or something like that. To me that was a clear indictator of tailoring evidence...

I saw on Sky News that if op given jail time, he will be lead directly down to the holding cells. Defence will obviously appeal and apply for bail & that is where he will wait until the decision. Can't believe that he could be out on bail again if sentenced to jail.

I agree I felt she smirked far longer than was necessary. I do think she apologised for her own behaviour though, just before she told Roux to withdraw his comment.
