    Could it be that he arranged to meet (whoever) and he's running late so he does a quick jog down there but then realises they aren't there yet and so just slows up and waits by the bins?I know he sent a text a 3am but maybe he dozed off again and suddenly woke up and thought he'd missed them...

    Yes I've definitely been in a taxi drunk and I think as long as you're not aggressive or about to vomit they'll take you, probably not many fares out late Friday night who aren't the worse for wear.

If he came out of the bin area when the camera panned away and cut through areas without Cctv, then falling into the river seems all too easy.     With regards to the other people seen in the CCTV footage, fb comments from locals say that the building he is passing is a pub and that there are always bouncers on the door. Watching the clip again with that in mind their behaviour makes more sense too me.

    Yes I'm very interested in what the Isotope testing shows too. It seems it will be at least another month as DCI Coleman is quoted as saying 'science takes time'. Really hope it provides something useful.

    He didn't look Pakistani to me either but in earlier articles it said that he may have been from the Pashtun ethnic group who have pale skin and different features which would fit better with the pictures imo.
