Could it be that he arranged to meet (whoever) and he's running late so he does a quick jog down there but then realises they aren't there yet and so just slows up and waits by the bins?I know he sent a text a 3am but maybe he dozed off again and suddenly woke up and thought he'd missed them...
Yes I've definitely been in a taxi drunk and I think as long as you're not aggressive or about to vomit they'll take you, probably not many fares out late Friday night who aren't the worse for wear.
Are you local By The River? I'm not nearby myself... Yes that's true could be so drunk he fell asleep again... Horrible to think of what might have happened if he was in a bin but they do seem to have checked out the lorry quite thoroughly
Although there are also some similar cases like Luke Durbin and also Damien Nettles where it's been years with no answer. I really hope that won't be the case here for his family's sake
Hello 'By The River' -
I'm thinking along the same lines as you withthe Adrian Lynch case - although the bin things is odd, especially as he'd already been asleep for a couple of hours
I agree with Skibaboo - sadly I think water is a very likely answer. If he came out of the bin area when the camera panned away and cut through areas without Cctv, then falling into the river seems all too easy. As with Pat Lamb last year in Kent, it could account for 'vanishing' from the the...
With regards to the other people seen in the CCTV footage, fb comments from locals say that the building he is passing is a pub and that there are always bouncers on the door.
Watching the clip again with that in mind their behaviour makes more sense too me.

I've just spotted this article published yesterday in the Saddleworth Independant. I really do hope that he is identified - interested to see that they think it less likely now that he was Pakistani as the fingerprints have drawn no matches (unlike the UK all citizens have fingerprints taken for...
Article published in the Evening Standard yesterday. No new details except to say that the 'extensive' enquiries are ongoing.

He didn't look Pakistani to me either but in earlier articles it said that he may have been from the Pashtun ethnic group who have pale skin and different features which would fit better with the pictures imo.
Also, sorry if it's been mentioned before and I didn't see , but in the Sun article her boyfriend is named as Evan Reinhaa but the DM article refers to Grant Hare as being her boyfriend - I'm confused?
