The way I read the article was that the appeals court didn't rule on the hearsay evidence because the appeal filing was too late. Am I reading this right?? I can't believe it took a year to rule that it was filed late. :maddening...

The Illinois Appeals Court has said "no" to additional hearsay evidence in the Peterson/Kathleen Salvio case......evidently because the state didn't file the appeal in time! I can't believe the appeals court would take a year to come up with this finding...
