I don't have the name of the case manager here with me at work, but I can tell you that things are moving along - SLOWLY. We (the family) have been told that it will probably be the end of the year before we get the results from the DNA testing. They had to get more sample from the maternal...

Regarding the DNA sample from the maternal grandmother - it just wasn't a good sample and they couldn't get results. However, they are pretty sure they got several good samples this time, so we're hopeful about getting results - even though it will be the end of the year before we know. :(

I couldn't find this on Facebook either - very interested in seeing it. We (Christina family) still haven't heard anything. DNA from another member has been requested.... progress is slow. :(

We have not yet received word about the results of DNA testing for Christina. Due to confidentiality at the moment, I can only say that there are several people involved and not all testing has been completed. We are still waiting. :-(

Things are moving again - Christy's father has now submitted his DNA sample. So now we wait for results.

Christina's father was contacted last week about the DNA - they are sending the sample kit to the police, who will contact him when it arrives. So, he hasn't provided the sample yet. Slow process.

My cousin Christy is finally registered at NCMEC, so hopefully her dad and grandmother will soon be able to supply DNA to compare to Sharon's. She had to be registered before any further steps could be taken. I'm amazed at the red tape. :-)...
