It’s a very good point. Why attack somebody with a dog which is likely to react badly. Maybe the dog was away from Anita or maybe there was a thought that it was so early in the morning any dog noise would not be heard by anybody.
I still feel the fact that the phone has been tracked down and the female was only connected to handling stolen goods points to the phone being handled after the attack rather than the phone being the reason for the attack.
Just because somebody has head injuries doesn’t mean that is the cause of death.
In my opinion the female handled the phone after the attack but the missing coat is a bit of a mystery.
In my opinion the talk of stolen goods is very strange. Surely a dog walker would not carry items of value so it suggests the items have been stolen elsewhere - maybe from the two areas that are now of interest?
Why did he leave it so late in the morning to take the taxi if he knew the event was on from 10-12? There was a chance that the event may have finished early or the taxi may have been delayed.
I’m not saying the police/friend didn’t act quickly on receiving the calls - just wondering how she was able to make the calls at that stage but not earlier.
