Thank you for all this. I'm happy to know that most of them told LE everything. That makes things a lot simpler. It makes me so sad that Brayden unknowingly bought the tarps that would be his family's shroud.
So very interesting that KS hung up on AD. Would love to know why she hung up. 🤔 Was...
That makes sense. Jackson's not a big population center (70K people) but still a lot of area to cover (around 60 sq miles not including rural areas outside of town) without any idea of where someone is. It's pretty revealing that they knew to look there.
I'm very interested that AD's travels...
I am stuck in a meeting as well, so my news is coming from here. Did I get that right? The 15 year old bought the burlap/tarp and the burner phone? I wonder if we'll ever know what AD said to convince the kid to buy that the burner phone and the tarps to cover the bodies for his murderer.
I'm very curious how these four people were drawn to this site at 6:30 in the morning. I'm a natural early riser now that I'm older, but I would think there had to be a pretty compelling reason to get them all out in the words next to a prison that early in the morning.
Well, it certainly seems that his "I'm working with the TBI and got scared" story is out the window now. I'll bet his public defender very much wishes he hadn't volunteered that interview. 😆
I just can't make sense of the idea that he's an undercover snitch who gets caught up in a mass murder, so he hides for a week, getting help from the people who should be very pissed at him. I can't help but think if that was true, they would have found his dead body on about day 2. Or never...
That sounds backward to me. From what I have read doing research, Police/FBI approach people to work as a CI, typically for leniency on pending charges. The Prosecutor has to agree but, as far as I know, that is the prosecutor's role in the process.
Plus, if he is a CI for someone, and he was...
Thank you so much. It is very difficult. And I agree with you that, wherever the baby is right now, she's being well-cared for. I feel for judges in situations like this. With such a horrible thing happening to take the baby's parents, I would imagine the judge feels a great responsibility to...
That's an interesting possibility. If true, I wonder if they would have already charged one of those people with murder? I also wondered if a 5th intended target might have gotten away. None of the descriptions I've read suggested whether anyone was being chased or if both were fleeing the area.
Assuming her parents were a little young to have thought of a will yet, in TN, courts have to go through a specific process to identify who is willing, able AND fit to raise the child.
With a complex criminal case having created the need for a guardian, I would think the court will be cautious...
This will sound silly but asking to have a protection order removed so you can speak to the person whose Mother, sister, BIL and nephew you are accused of murdering is not only downright bizarre, it's in poor taste.
