You're right. I'm no expert but IMO it sure doesn't look like someone preparing to kill someone. IMO burglary gone bad. So IF it were someone planning on killing MB, why at the church, with a last minute schedule change and how did they know where in the church she would go and without prior...

I would guess that a pointy tool like a hammer or pick would puncture a person if swung more than a love tap. Not sure how that's overkill..

Where else do you hit someone with a hammer/pick? And do we know how may wounds? Could be 2.

I agree. Somehow I envision the SP closing a local bar drunk, going home and putting on his fancy burglary suit and hitting the church nearby. Gets interrupted and in an alcohol assisted panic, clunks her a few times. More chance of finding him in a bar nearby than on MB Christmas list. JMO

Not sure how to kill someone with a hammer without getting up close.. As far as 'personal" and "hacked up" I assume that is what you "imagine" it was like? Still think random burglary gone wrong. Makes for a tough case to solve.

Just pondering what kind of person would chose the Swatperpoutfit? For a burglary: 1) The wannabe- younger male, possibly awkward thatis into police, military, weapons and cool gear. Kills to show that he is theman. 2) The drunk- male-closes the local bar and puts onlast year’s...

Probably stated several times in the past, but forgive me for not being able to totally keep up. If LE REALLY wanted to find the Nissan, why didn't they release the entire video of the car? Or am I just assuming the still pic is from a video? Is this the best they could get?

You're probably right, but, if someone asked me "who among your friends can you see being drunk at 0400 on a Monday morning"..might narrow the possibilities. Of course I have some lousy friends, so it may not be that easy :)

How do I word this so I don't have to go find 50 links..I think I read somewhere that 37% of all violent crimes happen under the influence of Alcohol.7% on drugs. 66% of Alcohol related homicides were against known victims. 31% were against strangers. imo

Please don't think I am excusing the perps actions whether on alcohol, drugs or PMS... I think, however, your assertions go against most statistical information provided. imo

Why would the possibility of them being drunk make it more likely to be personal? I would think the opposite, alcohol being the catalyst rather than revenge/anger etc?

I'm sure its been speculated before, but the perp looks drunk to me. Deliberate steps as not to fall on their a$$. Touching the wall to get a point of reference. Leaning back, standing tall as not to tip forward. So if that's the case, did the perp get liquored up to get the courage to go kill...
