You go to work because you feel like you're being overdramatic, overreacting, paranoid, crazy to believe that your daughter would kill her child. You go to work thinking "Stop thinking crazy things, I'm sure there's a completely normal explanation for everything."
From my understanding, the jury thought that there was not enough evidence presented to prove that she did this and convict her of doing this. But, that doesn't mean that they did not think that she did it, anyway.
I'm wondering if it's possible for the guilt to eat at her, or for her to admit it & gloat about it, until the point where she gets declared legally insane & committed to mental health care for the rest of her life. Are there still insane asylums in the world today?
If they decide to take the risk of losing the trust of they jury, would it be allowed for the defense to present a closing statement that completely ignores the premise stated in their opening statement?
Has this ever happened in a court of law?

Is there a thread or post somewhere that sums up each day's highlights, for those of us who miss large parts of the day's testimony? On days that are busy already, I don't have time to read through the whole live-blog trial threads.

I'm new-ish to this website & wondering if there's a post anywhere that shows links to the various jailhouse videos. Is the one where she reacts to child's remains being found available online anywhere?
Wanted to share my random thought for the evening....
Maybe JB actually believed ICA's story about sexual abuse, accidental drowning, controlling father insisting she cover up death to appease even more controlling mother...
And, maybe he thought that showing ICA's history of pathological...
