I think they wanted the individual to use a false name, hence the photos of the audience and the opportunity to use a false identity.

To me, it sounds like a rural Indiana accent of someone who would be in the 40 to 50 range.

They have also not cleared him either. I think it is telling that he initially gave a false alibi, especially when that alibi would have put him farther away from the scene of the crime, and possibly a worse driving offense in the eyes of the law.

From the video that was released of his truck being seized, they most definitely had the doors sealed with red tape.
