He specifically said he heard a child's voice in the background, but I wouldn't put it past Casey to find a TV show w/a child on it and use that to prop up her alibi of Caylee being alive at least as of the 24th....
Me too, but I don't know that legally that would be enough for a conviction, and my standards of beyond a reasonable doubt are a lot lower than many...legally "probably did it" is not good enough.
No, its a very strong signal that they don't want any of the forensic test results leaked. George can say whatever he wants about gas cans that were stolen from his property...
What I can't decide is what it means...usually, quite frankly, if police have incriminating evidence they don't...
Yeah, I was thinking that was possible also...but, if she tells them where Caylee is and they can't use it then all they have is an abandoned car that had a dead body in it...but no real linkage to Casey. But she would be a fool to take this kind of deal since the publicity would ensure her...
I agree. I think the DNA testing must have come back at best inconclusive and I don't think in a case this serious...dead 3 year old, mom partying for a month...they would be offering any kind of immunity if they believed they had what is necessary to prosecute her.
IMO its a bluff...we will...
They would call that a plea offer not an offer of immunity.
Immunity doesn't mean we charge you with the lesser charge, it means that whatever you tell us, we will not use in prosecuting you...
Okay, this tells me they have ZERO idea where Caylee is or where to look for her.
You do not offer any kind of immunity to a socioapath who killed her 3 year old daughter unless you are desperate.
I think the key is the timeline...where was Casey from the 16th - 20th and the 20th - 24th...what did she tell people about Caylee...are there any identifiable gaps in her phone calls/online communicationsor general behavior that can be found.
Thanks.
I really don' t know....I'd lilke to know what her friends say she said about where Caylee was and if they saw any change in her behavior during those days...
Was Amy already in Puerto Rico by this time? The 15th?
It still doens't explain why LE cannot find any traces of the babysitter...also pretty unlikely that a 26 year old woman...which is how Casey describes the babysitter...would be a pedophile.
Even if the babysitter used fake name...there should be witnesses and neighbors who can confirm that...
