If she is in any of the water around here, she will turn up. I think LE has done an extensive job with the side sonar and divers, but you never know. We are just getting into boating/swimming/camping season so I have high hopes for discovery if that is where she is.

And now I just remembered they got his dna (last year>) for a felony arrest... no charges, etc. We have the law here that takes dna from people arrested on felony charges even if nothing comes of it. So his dna was in CODIS since that arrest or when it was processed after that arrest.

This is interesting... because I have known that DNA kits, uploading and CODIS entry is actually FREE to local law enforcement agencies for old, cold or unsolved cases... I am wondering if current cases, sexual assaults, etc do not qualify. edited... the article I was quoting is not...

Can anyone give me a quick update? Just got home and there is no local news on right now :( I was at the HOJ today but had to be in the courtroom I was doing jury duty in while the arraignment was going on. I did witness LOTS of Sierra supporters coming into court during the lunch break...

My brother's murderers were charged with murder months before his body was found. I am not going to talk about specific evidence, but there are many ways to prove someone was murdered without having their actual body in evidence.

my 7year old neighbor came over and told me I can take down my Missing poster of Sierra because they "already found the guy". SAD, why do kids have to know about this stuff. I told him yes they found him, but Sierra is still lost.

So irritated right now! I have been "on call" for jury duty this week, and yep my group is required to report at 830 tomorrow morning. I already set out my stuff to wear for the search tomorrow. I am hoping I can do both (get excused from the courthouse early and go to MH). Terrible timing.

I am so surprised that that none of this leaked out to the public - the police searched his trailer/RV, took his car, and were following him (somewhere it said he knew the police were following him), etc.
