Was there ever any explanation as to why someone else looked after her dog? That seems so unusual. I have read some theories/innuendos but were they ever asked about this directly? Thanks.

Having just finished Part II of the CBS special (and still assimilating), I can now see that too. And the interviews Burke R. did (then and now) and distance from the events, which if Dr. Phil was truly being objective, he would have called him on, are intense - particularly put together. But...

That was one of the lines that was not clear even enhanced... I was wondering whether it was somewhat rhetorical ... like... "What did you do" (to get us in this situation )? But the voice inflection would matter. Would have to listen again.

I think it was possible there was material in there they were wary of releasing or became wary of (perhaps due to Lin Wood but would rather not "credit" him with that) but that might have explained certain things that are being questioned, but they decided to pull back. It is also possible that...

It IS really bad, and, although he is not a journalist, this should be disclosed (the connection of the lawyer). It was in some of the print press earlier (prior to airing), right? I guess mainstream media does not really cover (take seriously?) Dr. Phil so he gets away with these things without...

I only started understanding this case more recently but I read somewhere (and I am not sure where now) that Fleet White said he did not do any interviews because he thought one day he would be called to testify in court and did not want to jeopardize that, but then that day did not come.

ps. sorry missed that before. The date stamp says Jan 8 1997 so presumably they had talked to him about it somewhat. That is (part of) what I was trying to clarify.
