Perhaps another reason why they tried so hard to take him without violence is because, as a small town, they knew everyone (family included) would be desperate for answers.
That's so frustrating, because who knows how long that will take?
Is there no recourse that would allow for a customer to add an emergency contact to their phone account (when originally setting up the account) that would give that contact the right to allow law enforcement to obtain the phone...
That very well could be true! He was supposed to graduate high school next month and then head off to college. You'd think he could put up with it a little bit longer! Such a shame.
