This is so hard to hear. Now isn't the time to second guess LE or to point fingers, but it's hard to believe that it took so long to find Jacob. I could ask why, but there are no answers. Just so much sadness, anger, and grief. That poor innocent child.

Has been talked about here before, in the Wetterling threads, but Joshua Guimond (age 20) went missing from Collegeville, MN in 2002. He has never been found. Obviously he's much older than Jacob and DH's other known victims. But it's right in the same area. Can't help but wonder...

If they found the clothes along with the remains, it seems likely that he was killed shortly after the abduction. Just speculation. Also interesting that they didn't find anything in Heinrich's place that tied him to Jacob.

The details in the criminal complaint (28 pages) are chilling. Jacob's kidnapping matches all the details of the kidnappings in Paynesville. Unreal.

I'll throw this out there as well, <modsnip> DR constantly criticizes LE, the media, and people trying to solve/investigate the case. Yet, he says he wants the case solved, and he keeps talking to media and drawing attention to himself by posting comments on news stories, talking to reporters...

I'm really not sleuthing anyone. Just conducting an experiment. I could do the same with my own language.
