Agreed, in the interview Darlene was specifically being asked about their joint financial situation and said that because of his child support payments for 3 children from his previous marriages he was dependent on Lynette for all other living expenses, including legal fees.
I agree that we shouldn't 'whitewash' the victim, everybody is human and you clearly don't need to be a 'perfect' person to be a victim of a crime.
This is about BH using his lawyer to release private medical information about his stepdaughter in order to attack her and her credibility, but at...
Yes I know, that's what I said in my post, but I was questioning why it would be repeated on here as it's private medical information and it shouldn't discredit her credibility.
Especially because her version of events are corroborated by his biological daughter, who would have testified that he...
I'm surprised you are comfortable with this private information being released by his attorney and are you implying it affects her validity as a witness to his abusive behaviour?
Excellent question , Lynette's mum said the Bahamian authorities found it but it wasn't clear where. Being removed beforehand could point to premeditation.
That is all pretty damning imo especially the unaccounted for hours, unspent flares and unused anchor, no wonder the authorities have probable cause.
Good thing that BH managed to keep hold of his hat in those high winds though, considering everything of importance went 'overboard'
So after listening to the recorded conversation with his friend, I have similar thoughts to those already posted.
The bit about the key in the ignition going overboard even though it wasn't attached to either of them made no sense, how could Lynette have managed to pull the key out of the motor...
Totally agree, but as @Megnut so eloquently explained, there is such a thing as 'toxic hope'.
There are sadly many examples of abused wives hoping that their partner has changed
and that they can get back to the 'good times'.
If you listen to Lynette's mothers interview, she explains it very well.
Respectfully, that makes it sound like they were both as bad as eachother, did you watch Darlene's whole interview?
Darlene was very clear about BH being the abuser, as per my previous post imo.
She also said that she asked Lynette to post her whereabouts on social media as she was worried...
I believe the 'child abuse' incident happened in 2015. Just because he was found not guilty doesn't mean he was innocent as we know from our websleuths experience!
It was his 12 year old daughter who was allegedly choked, Karli talks about it in her interview and she witnessed it and testified...
Yeah, the fact that BH's attorney can't even confirm if he had his phone with him that night speaks for itself. Imo he doesn't want to incriminate himself by saying he tried to make an emergency call when he thinks technology can prove that he didn't.
I can believe that phone coverage may have...
Agree with other posts that I don't buy his story about shooting 2 flares to 2 separate boats, both of which supposedly ignored them.
As per a poster who studied at California Maritime college:
"All ships, upon receiving a valid distress signal, are legally obligated by International Law and...
This is another good point, there is no mention of exact time or place in his version of events. He would have been familiar with the route and would have landmarks on the nearby shore to use as navigational points.
Surely it would be possible to say 'we were near xyz area' when Lynette fell...
