That is all pretty damning imo especially the unaccounted for hours, unspent flares and unused anchor, no wonder the authorities have probable cause. Good thing that BH managed to keep hold of his hat in those high winds though, considering everything of importance went 'overboard'

Totally agree, but as @Megnut so eloquently explained, there is such a thing as 'toxic hope'. There are sadly many examples of abused wives hoping that their partner has changed and that they can get back to the 'good times'. If you listen to Lynette's mothers interview, she explains it very well.
