So sad to think that he'd be 43 years old now. I, too, think he most likely died from exposure or accidental fall. Hopefully his remains are located eventually so his family can have some closure.

Apparently they had to drop the charges due to insufficient evidence. A search for Glenda's remains using cadaver dogs came up with nothing. I hope Glenda is found so her family can get closure.
