I would say it's unlikely. There is no reason I can think of to bother going that way if one is going from Littleton to Westminster. My two cents. =)

I believe the comment about Veteran's Day was relevant because of my suggestion to consider government employees, who commonly work compressed schedules with every other Friday off, or just take the Friday off before a Federal holiday for a long weekend. =)

The road had been closed most of the summer for construction/road improvements... I think it reopened in late September, later than they had originally said. There were likely a lot of crews in and out that got to know the area.

You could also consider a government position - some have every other Friday off, plus all Federal holidays (that can make for long weekends around Memorial Day and Columbus Day).
