We had this discussion at my office the other day. Bets were that a lot of "famous" people who live their lives on social media would now start locking it down tighter. I was pretty surprised how many pics of SG's kids were readily available. Sigh.
Just my .02 but it DOES seem like there were not community wide searches that you often see in cases like this. I think about all the prior missing person cases where the community rallied and literally helped with searches (in neighborhood, public spaces, etc.). That seems absent to me here...
I do that in large cities when travelling alone with my daughter. "There's dad over there" and we just start moving. She is older now but has strict instructions to just roll with whatever I say. (My husband isn't on these trips.)
I know it has been mentioned that the recent filing for the divorce proceedings was just routine cleaning up of files. But I wonder if parties were notified anyway and he THOUGHT she was initiating something. Even if clerical clean up, he might have received notice from the court. I mean that...
I agree. It sounds like there is a possibility the office was at least aware of a situation that could cause concern. So maybe they were hesitant to give out any info. But as a Mom who has made a million appointments, I often will say "I'd like to see Dr. SoAndSo ... are they in next Tuesday?"...
Whatever you do ... do NOT look at social media posts. OMG. If this wasn't such a tragic, horrifying outcome, then I would laugh out loud at what is being tossed about. The theories and speculation are just WILD. It reminds me of the missing teen boaters from Florida years ago. There was a...
(I'm assuming Yahoo News is acceptable)
Interesting quote from this new article,
Monique Tepe did not make tearful 911 call months before slaying, police say
However, on Jan. 8, Chief Elaine Bryant revealed police determined the officer who went to the well-being check went to the wrong...
I think this (grey building on left photo) is one on video. This is zoomed in ... if you get too close, it disappears as the Google dates change. But this looks like it to me ... then I spun around and you can see Tepe's garage up ahead on left in second pic. So I agree that the footage (if I am...
I agree. I watch wayyyyy too much Netflix, Hulu, etc. but this feels like a "hit". And if you want MT dead, and you fire one shot ... best make sure it was successful. Seems odd to me that she was only shot once UNLESS she was shot accidentally and then panic ensued. I dunno. ALL OF IT SEEMS OFF.
We only use it for family, but I wonder if coworkers had "find my friends" or "Life 360" shared with the couple. I go back and forth about thinking that calling the cops when someone is 1.5 hours late for work is a little extreme, but if an app showed that they were both at the home, but not...
I am local to that story and this week is the 20th anniversary. So terrible. Just ... horrific. I also am in the "I don't open my door for ANYONE camp". Sigh.
