He definitely could have been into weed, but to be honest the fact that his name is Blaze means that he probably heard a LOT of "420 blaze it" name jokes and sort of ran with it as his Tumblr name.

Based on his Spotify account, I suspect that Blaze is gay (he has a playlist called Party But Gay filled with Lady Gaga and Beyonce and a lot of Abba and Ariana Grande in his other playlists). I am not sure if this information is relevant, but it might be.
