Sorry for the double post. So, it's been over ten years now.
For four people to not turn on each other for this long (three now), they must all think they have something to lose by the truth coming out. I think all three know a lot more than they're saying.
I think they were all using drugs up...
It was probably so he wouldn't wake the neighbors up or to make it less likely for the police to be called with three shots. One shot, if needed, for Mary would be less likely to cause alarm with the neighbors than three or more.
Such an evil monster. He should have stayed on the most wanted list.
Why did he decide to slit their throats rather than just shoot them? The kids obviously died quickly, although not right away. The kids were conscious likely for at least 20 seconds afterwards and probably died knowing their own dad slaughtered them.
If there's any case I'd like to see solved...
I wish there was even one documentary about this case. Not even ID or Oxygen has covered it. I think how he was convicted based on DNA so early in the game was really interesting and make for a great documentary. At the time, his defense was really trying to challenge the DNA as "junk science"...

Just double checking—does ER's car at all match one of the potential getaway cars? It make sense that she would associate with someone who would pose as a delivery driver to commit a robbery. Very ER scheme-like. Just thought it's very coincidental that she was in the area the day of the shooting.
