I know the facts of this case, Otto. I know what B, D and the neighbors have said they heard. My point is that, at trial , Taylor would have had to rigorously challenge what the 2 surviving room mates THINK they heard. Maybe both sides did acoustic testing ( I assume they did) but that isn't...
Just getting here and don't have time to read back through the thread, but I'd be interested to know if Cristin and David were day hiking or if they were camping. Anyone know ?
My issue isn't really with the accuracy or scale of the model, but as a juror, I would absolutely want a demonstration of the acoustics of the crime scene. This model, no matter how accurately it depicts the layout of the house, does nothing to help clarify what could and could not be heard from...
In a case where the acoustics of the crime scene would have been vital at trial, how was this model supposed to provide a jury with valuable insight ?
It's just infuriating.

It's entirely possible that he viewed some women in certain ways due to their profession . Maybe even blamed them for his own deviant urges and actions. I'm not suggesting that that is the case, but if it is , I can easily see how he might be kind to women he viewed as " good girls ".
(Sorry if...
I absolutely understand your line of thinking. But I would still find it inexcusable to ruin a young woman's reputation in order to further that goal. We need justice for the victims of RH...we don't need to create more victims of him.
