I just read up-thread she died of verifiable natural causes .. small mercies.

Building a case for court is my thinking, usually they go quiet when they no longer need the public's input. Getting the file together, probably waiting for her remaining victim to be well enough to make a statement, getting the forensics back on the dehydrator .. testing the pathology samples...

I wonder if the statement from dying victim was about how Erin was acting around the meal .. perhaps eating something entirely different, or being very particular about plates. God .. it really does seem deliberate. I don't think 'friends' would dare visit her even if there were no press, and...

Re 'death wall' .. that's several types of pen and pencil too .. I still remember every single time I dared scribble on a wall as a kid, and definitely didn't go back for more. She must have condoned it, bare minimum.
