LE has twice questioned men who lived with an older woman (MIL, mother). I am guessing LE might also think a woman is involved - not necessarily with the abduction but in taking care of NG afterwards, wherever they took her. (If she actually survived the ordeal on 2/1.) MOO.
Very disappointing about no arrests! I stayed up past my bedtime following the case last night, as I know lots of you did too.
Question: they hauled in an SUV. Is that still being examined as evidence, or is that dismissed too?
Is there a way to check arrests/criminal reports in the area on January 11? I wonder if there were any break ins, intruders, etc. reported nearby on that date?
I keep coming back to that too. I can't imagine NG opening the door to him! I also have been thinking that he disabled the camera and then got access through the back of the house.
I have been thinking the same thing. She has been in the same neighborhood 50 years, is active at church, seems so well liked. I wonder if there are community led searches we haven't heard about?
Good point! At my church birthdays are mentioned during the welcome announcements. If this is the case at her church too, her absence would have been more noticeable.
I agree completely. I believe that Nancy was killed (possibly accidentally) by someone she knew and I think the ransom note was sent to distract. It sounds like there are details in the ransom note that would only be known to someone who knew Nancy and her house.

I noticed the bruises and assumed that they were the result of taking blood thinners. My Mom took blood thinners and I recall she occasionally had similar bruises as a result.
