    Australia Australia - William Tyrrell, 3, Kendall, NSW, 12 Sept 2014 - #24

A good exercise is to watch it with the sound down, and try to work out what the person is feeling as they are talking. Can be surprising the results you get with this.

I haven't been to this forum in a while, but it is just heartbreaking that not much has changed in regards to finding William - at least what we know about. I think the cops may have a pretty good idea of what's what, but just need the final pieces in place. Keeping my fingers crossed that this...

Hate to say but wheelchairs are pretty common around Adelaide. I saw one at an op shop the other day, you can always find them on gumtree, and my ex has one at his place - the kids play in it when they are there. Not too uncommon, even given how much they are worth.

If criminals are smart, they don't leave any evidence. The crims in this case are just dumb ordinary run of the mill crims. No masterminds, and it was only dumb luck, on a number of fronts, that it wasn't all unraveled sooner. I don't think he kept the suitcases and belongings as trophies. I...

Not necessarily so. I could go and dig out old phones now with their cards still in them, or onboard storage, or even old 2 gb sim cards, with pics that I took and never much looked at after. That's the thing with digital images - they are a dime a dozen, and plenty get discarded. Doesn't...

Is is a fair bit different here. You can own a house, as long as it is your PPOR - Principal Place of Residence. You can also have substantially more in the bank too, as well as other investments. There is a reason refugees are beating a path to our door. As well as the weather and the friendly...

It's all rather unfortunate, isn't it. However, the evidence doesn't lie, nor does the fact that the accused had a history with Karlie. The evidence suggests her death was carried out with great emotion - you would think that a killing to enforce a bad drug debt would be more clinical in nature...

I think her height sounds right for the upper percentile. Girls are generally bigger than boys until they reach puberty. Also, I have known a few little girls who are pretty big for their age, and they have all had larger dads. I just checked 95cm against me, and it isn't outside of the realms...

For example, here in SA it is called CTP - Compulsory Third Party. Also, there is no real way of us knowing if it covered HP's injuries or not, due to the car being out of rego. This is because the cover continues for one month after the rego on a car is expired. So it is possible that if the...

Ditto to that. From what I have seen Makara does a superb job at keeping it together. For the life of me I can't work out why so many people are getting it wrong. I fully intend to keep a closer eye and hit the report button if I see any - I like this place simply because there is no conjecture...

I should have said that only if they have been found guilty of the past offence. You could still utilise a presumption of innocence for the new crime as a starting point, and the burden of proof & evidentiary factors etc would stand as it is now, but I do think past transgressions should be in...

Slightly OT, but it is obvious from this case and others before it that the genie is well and truly out of the bottle with regards to trial by social media. IMO, the laws are going to have to be changed to suit this century. I have always been against prior knowledge of a violent offender's...

Regarding the house, it is possible for a person to keep a HSA house in their name, but rent it out privately and live elsewhere. It certainly is not allowed, and is against the housing rules, but who would let the rules get in the way? That's for other people, evidently. The Hillbank house...

Regarding the places where the ATM card was used, how do we know that there was only one ATM card in play? May have been two? Depending on the bank, and the excuses given to them at the time, it can be possible to get issued another card with the first one not being cancelled. It is an...
