February 10 was the date listed in various blogs, websites, etc. But over the years the date may have been confused. I would accept Feb 9th since you have a news clipping from the time of these events.

The FaceBooks page, which has not been updated in 2 years, and other links are under "Jason Morgan"apparently he went by Jason normally.

There is a good deal more information on this case. Apparently, he disappeared after a huge argument with his father, whom he lived with. His father refused to talk to the police, tried to prevent other family members from talking to them either. He removed all the pictures of his son and threw...

His sister Becky, moved to Flordia, retired, and did pass away about 18 months ago I believe.

Yes, JP lived and taught in Madera, CA. He retired a few years back and did write a post on here shortly after that. Apparently, one of his students had a habit of Googling their teachers and found all this information about Cedarridge, Roger, etc. needless to say, he was not happy bout having...

Yes, he has actually posted a few times on here over the years. He moved to California... up toward Central California I believe. He retired from teaching school and seems to live a quiet life. When he has posted on here and it has been some time he has a sharp mocking attitude, but I guess that...

I wish it were not the case, but I believe he has been long dead... Rest In Peace.

Agreed, I don't recall that the local LE ever reported it, but maybe

To the best of my knowledge, the deathbed confession was mentioned in this website which perhaps the member got it from local news sources or LE. But I do not recall ever seeing the information cited for a source.

Yes, it is. Mr. Pash makes several observations about the information given on the site, many of his observations are well taken and well thought out, but then again, Mr. Pash's father worked for the CIA as I recall. Much of the information is speculation or third-hand information or just...

There is a website started by a friend of Becky's (Roger's now deceased sister) in which there were interviews with his ski club coach (now also deceased I believe) in which he states he knew of no reason that Roger would either run away or harm himself. Now, back then being gay in a small...

Roger had no steady girlfriend but had dated in high school. In fact, the FBI looked into a threat made a year or so earlier from another student over a girl Roger was dating who had previously dated the other student. They decided that it wasn't reasonable to think the other boy waited over a...

Its a saying from Cardinal Richelieu.. meaning that what is wrong (or illegal) at one time in society is acceptable or even the norm at another time.

Wouldn't be ironic if Roger had info on a pot growing enterprise (it was reported he smoked a joint once in a while)... and was murdered for that... back then a potential felony now a mainstream business. Ironic and sad. I guess its true... "Treason is only a matter of dates."
