GUILTY NC - Tim Hennis on trial in the '85 Eastburn murders, Fort Bragg

I haven't checked in for awhile so I've just seen the announcement of the "Botched" podcast. Absolutely awesome. Can't wait to listen. I'm a podcast addict anyway (true crime podcasts that is) and have hoped and hoped someone would do one and Dr. Godwin doing it is the best news. Another podcast...

Thanks for answering. I wonder if they even do blood typing nowadays since DNA profiling came into being? Maybe they don't bother. Are Hennis' lawyer's privy to the dna results on the towel, or is it something only the lab workers and law enforcement/prosecutors would have access to?

I have a question for Sundrop. As far as the bloody towel, I know you said that there was a full male profile developed (DNA). I don't know if you are privy to the results related to that or if you just know it was done. If you do know, or could find out if you wanted, would you be able to find...

MD MD - Sr. Catherine Cesnik, 26, Baltimore, 7 Nov 1969 "The Keepers"

I think Koob loved her and I bet Cathy was going to leave the convent and marry him. I don't see a motive for him. I do think that newspaper story about the cop makes no sense. I would like to have him explain what the heck he meant by that. Maybe we are misunderstanding what he means by it. I...

MD MD - Sr. Catherine Cesnik, 26, Baltimore, 7 Nov 1969 "The Keepers"

Thinking about that, Sr. Russell would have known about Maskell and Magnus coming in the night before and threatening them. She was there. She was her roommate and the killers and Maskell might understandably think she would have confided in Sr. Russell. That would make Russell a huge threat...

Oh my, I hadn't considered this--but do we know if the 2nd person who was shown the body is living--is there any possibility the 2nd woman was Sr. Russell?? Could that be why she was so terrified to talk about it her entire life?

At the end of that article that the link went to about another girl being shown the body by policemen, it mentions the possibility she had been pulled over by police that night. I am leaning towards it being one of Maskell's cops that were participating in these rapes as being the killer. It...

Don't forget the other woman who says she went to Cathy's the night before to talk to her and Maskell and Magnus burst in, then later threatened to kill her and her boyfriend/family if she told anyone. That puts him on the premises very close to the time of the murder and presenting a...

If anyone is interested, there is an episode of a great podcast called Casefile. The episode title is "The Catholic Mafia". It happened decades ago as well in Australia. The remarkable thing is how similar it is to this as far as the way it works. The priest, police, all of it. In this one there...

    The oversized Bloomingdale’s panties.

I keep hearing about what LE recovered from the house in the drawers or bathroom (wherever they were kept). Do we know if LE took the clothing that had been packed on the plane for the trip? Seems to me those should count as far as finding what all she had or what may have been missing. I know...

    The oversized Bloomingdale’s panties.

I could not read the entirety of this thread so if this has already been brought up I apologize. On the first page it says something about Jonbenet's mother saying she wore size 8 to 10 underpants but only 4 to 6 were found in the drawers where they were kept. I cannot remember sizing of...

GUILTY NC - Tim Hennis on trial in the '85 Eastburn murders, Fort Bragg

Just wanted to say congrats to sundrop in relation to the Grinstead case. I believe your collaboration with Payne Lindsay has either directly or indirectly (I do not know the evidence/facts that led to arrest of course) helped make this happen. It makes me hope that having had such a great...

CANADA Canada - Lindsay Buziak, 24, Victoria, BC, 2 Feb 2008

I was thinking they actually called her cell phone because she asked her how she got her number. The person said a previous client referred her. The client was apparently named since it was said that the client named was out of town and could not be reached to confirm this referral. I don't see...

How would you classify the murderer of Jaye Potter Mintz, organized or disorganized? Likely just 1 killer in that case? Changing the subject a bit, what's your sense on the Mr. X letters? Written by the killer or someone who may know the killer, or just a hoax?

Sundrop, would you classify the Eastburn murderer(s) as an organized killer or disorganized? Do you believe there were at least 2 people there as Stombaugh asserted? Have you or the FBI or anyone involved in criminal profiling ever made a profile of the killer? If that has been done I would like...
