I've seen the vegetarian thing mentioned a lot, I did notice in Brian's stories that they were cooking two pieces of salmon in the van, it was time stamped 10 weeks ago. So he likely at least eats fish. (sorry if this was mentioned, I've given upon trying to read all the posts, I did for a long...
It's a milestone award given to YouTubers when they reach 100k subscribers. It is like a plaque they can display with their channel name, etc. It is a goal for a lot of channels. Someone earlier posted a wikipedia page that described it more in detail with some photos.
I had to skip a couple of threads so I'm not sure if this was mentioned, but Gabby's channel made it to 100k subscribers today! This means that it should be eligible for the silver play button coveted by many youtubers! Red White and Bethune has said they will make it a mission to get this award...
I saw a program about using infrared during decomp, they can see it with infrared at least on the cameras they were using, even underground. The guy's name was Gene Robinson. I'm not sure how thermal and infrared differ, though.
Regarding their route -
If you look at their Dyrt profile, they have it broken up into sections which I think indicates what their planned route was around that area. One of them is Craters to Teton and two of those sites are very near Victor, ID.
I can't quote because it was on the last thread but I believe it was @Born2BWild and @Figuring that posted about Gabby's instagram being delayed for some reason. I just wanted to note that a lot of travel vloggers will do this and don't post real time info of their location for safety reasons...
Even Gabby's own wasn't very many prior to this. Social Blade shows their Youtube channel at 149 subscribers and 507 views on 9/12. Today it has around 88k subscribers and 4 million views.
The inside of those truck campers are SO small. I cannot imagine 3 people in there? Maybe they are really creative. Or I guess some of them could have used tents, kind of like Gabby & Brian seemed to do.
This is why I was wondering about the Jackson Hole cameras that are up everywhere. LE likely has it, but I was wondering if they were archived anywhere that we could check.
OK thanks for the info! Also, we don't know that nobody reported noise, we just haven't heard that in MSM I don't think. Maybe reports of gunshots are what narrowed it down to that campground (before the youtube video). Obviously that is pure speculation on my part but I just was thinking...
I believe it is due to the youtube video giving them pretty much the exact location where they found her. They had already narrowed it down but that video helped to zero it in.
