The Steve Ridge interview was very interesting. I think he thinks it was Vansice. The fact that she was dating a new person in the weeks before she went missing is new information right? He basically said he thought someone (Vansice) got jealous. Did Vansice haveca connection to Winsted?

I read that Roy is a hoarder. Also the trash bags people are talking about are the bags the backpack was buried in. ETA nope I’m wrong a trash bag from the property was taken as evidence.

Yes it is weird. And one of the daughters drove the car all around town in the years after.

The words “pulled into” were not used until now. Previously they said “got into”. 2 totally different implications. So I agree that the change in verbiage is significant.

Ok so the car tip had been there from early in the investigation …on the day Asha went missing, someone matching her description may have been seen getting into a distinctive vehicle along N.C. 18 where she was last seen. The vehicle was described as an early 1970s Lincoln Mark IV or possibly a...

This is all just unbelievable. I never thought we would see this case be solved/close to being solved (hopefully). Still so many questions. Why did Asha leave in the middle of the night to begin with? The green car tip-who called that in? It’s mentioned a lot but not attributed to anyone. I...

My theory is that he ran off to join the circus. So everyone needs to entertain that theory even though no one in Jason’s life ever mentioned his love of the circus and as a matter of fact the circus was not even in town. Does this make sense? Just because you can think of a scenario doesn’t...

<modsnip - quoted post was removed> Thanks, but its not like the family or the public have a checklist of every single person LE talked to. I don’t think anyone can say that LE did not speak with even one person from church. I don’t think it is fair to his family to insinuate they somehow...

Do you have a source for this? That is a pretty big assertion to say law enforcement “never” did something.

There is a poster here who keeps asserting that Jason’s family did so but will not provide a source for that. Jason’s family are considered victims. Saying that they dissuaded lines of investigation is victim blaming.

I also read about the gas station sighting. The person who commented mentioned the jersey and that they had a concern for the jersey wearer’s safety.

Where is it reported that LE didn’t look at church members?
