I have tried to add inages to that page and Andrew’s. You need to get an image that has permission to be used on the page. I have asked Missing People for permission to use their images a few times but this didn’t seem to be a priority for them. If you post an image without permission it is...
I wrote the Wikipedia entry for Alex. It took three goes to get it accepted as there was so little info on him. I think one of the reasons I could get it to be deemed to be ‘notable’ was his extremely tenuous connection to Andrew (which amounts to little more than the potential connection being...
That’s a good call. It could be a Berghaus. IIRC it was a fairly pleasant day, a lot of people in the photo - including Andrew are in T Shirts - but some people feel the cold more than others so that probably doesn’t mean much and it probably is a gilet.
Missing People should only forward it on if they believe it is worth sharing with the family. They may have been sent it many years ago and already dismissed it.
Thanks for that. I have read that too, I believe it’s referenced on the Wikipedia page, I am after a specific time for both sightings. That is as specific as I have found. Nothing says that he was at Pizza Hut at 12 yet this is often believed to be the time. Also ‘Later’ is a pretty big time...
Does the bald man look like they are wearing a stab vest or a gilet to you? If I was able to get down to Trafalgar Square I would measure the balustrade to get an indication of the heights of the people in the photo.
I have never seen a reliable source for the time of the Covent Garden sighting. It is often assumed to be in the afternoon or it is just referred to as being after the Pizza Hut sighting. Both sightings are unconfirmed of course.
I shared it with the charity Missing People which is the families preferred option for this sort of thing. Can I ask everyone’s opinion; does the bald man this person is with look like he is wearing the uniform of an armed British Transport Police officer circa 2007? (Possibly off duty - no...
I have done a shadow simulation on this site: http:// shadowcalculator.eu
Contrary to my previous post the shadows in the photo appear to correspond with the photo being taken at 17:36:15.
Assuming the tourist who took the photo had their camera set correctly to the local time of the country of their origin (which appears to be North America i.e. UK -5 for NY to -8 for LA) that would make the actual time of the photo being taken as between 12:36:15 to 15:36:15. The length of the...
This is a very good point. It is clearly the wrong time stamp. The person who took the photo was indeed a tourist. I will try to compare shadows and look at other clues to guess what time it was.

No it’s not that person. It sounds like you are referring to the original image. I was talking about this crop of that image: imgur.com
It shows two people standing behind a balustrade. The one on the left is smaller, slim with long gingery brown hair and the one on the right is a bald man.
Yes, foreground couple. It could be a woman. It probably is. They fit Andrews ‘look’ better than any other candidate I have found in years of searching though.
It would be useful to go down there and measure the height of that balustrade so I could get a gauge on the persons height.
