Xana was not asleep. Clearly. She was active on TikTok at 4:12. At 4:17 a camera 50 ft from her room detected "whimpering and a thud." BK was spotted on camera leabing the area at 4:20.
K may have come into M's room after hearing the same commotion DM heard.
My understanding is that KG's room still had a bed and a coverlet. I can't recall where I read that, though.
The affadavit said she was standing in a "frozen phase" as the killer walked towards her, past her, and towards the sliding glass doors.
She wasn't standing this way the previous two times she opened the door; this time she was essentially paralyzed in place. Why might this be? It's the...
I truly wouldn't be surprised since this affadavit left me reeling. So many things I thought were true weren't and there were many new surprises: door dash delivery, Xana being up on Tiktok, DM being on the 2nd floor, times of death, details about the car, believing there was no suspect when...
The thing is is it is MM's room directly above hers. KG's room is above the kitchen. DM heard noise from MM's room which DM *thought* was KG playing with her dog. She probably heard thumping, typical of play-wrestling or jostling with a dog, but was in actuality a murder.
Per the affadavit
"D.M. said she opened her door for the third time after she heard the crying and saw a figure clad in black clothing and a mask that covered the person's mouth and nose walking TOWARDS her... the male walked past D.M. as she stood in a 'frozen shock phase. The male walked...
The dog was "caught" barking at 4:17 on a camera 50 feet from XK's room. The police found the dog in a room on the third floor when they arrived. There is no reason to think the dog was barking for food at 4:17 with XM (the recepient of the food, per the affadvit) when a camera nearby is...
Wow, I haven't caught up on all the reading here, but I'm just astounded by some of the comments.
There are many things that can be inferred from the affadavit.
XK received a door dash at 4 am. At 4:04 am, BK was entering the area for a fourth time, driving eastbound, turning around, driving...
I have wondered this myself... I would think there would be some texts going on, too. 6 calls in 26 minutes gives enough time for the inevitable "why aren't you answering?" "I need to talk to you" "pick up" messages. At the same time, the calls had to be within a few minutes of each other...
