There is a post on Twitter from someone that claims to have family in the area - saying that rumors are flying that her body might have been found in a pond near the home and that cops are all over the place... Anyone heard anything like this? I can't find any media coverage yet.

The Wichita Eagle is reporting that the search of the Whitewater south of Towanda has ended with out any clues or findings.

No the adoptive parents live in Derby, Kansas about 30-40 miles from their old house in Towanda. I'm guessing the out of state source would be someone who used to live in the park.

The sheriff is saying they found some "things" related to the "answer" they received at the first dig... Couldn't really be more vague. I don't know that they "know" he's dead so much as the "remains" thing was probably more of an answer to why they are digging up the back yard.
