If you buy pre-paid minutes there are records for those as also. Rather than the records going through a switch, they go through what we call a "CAMEL" box. We have pre-paid accounts where I work also and I have pulled records for those accounts as well.

I am a billing Rep for a local cellular provider and providing phone records for LE subpoen's is one of my duties. I assure you if she called him or he called her they will find those records. They can pull that information directly from the switch which all calls a processed through. Records...

Hating to quote myself, I went and re-read the TL interview and unless I missed something, he was not asked what time LA left his apartment. If someone has more info on this that would be great.
