Its strange that RL is being held without bail for a DUI probation violation. I know that LE has used this tactic in other cases to hold a POI while they wait for DNA results etc in cases. IMO, I think that is exactly why RL is suddenly arrested for a non related matter...

The toxicology reports could be important in investigation if drugs were involved. For example, if a tip was called in claiming killer admitted injecting certain drugs, then LE would know it was a valid tip and jump on it ...

What if the Doctor didn't realize that the patient was a suspect at the time of treatment? I wonder if HIPAA Laws allow them to contact LE after the fact?

<modsnip> Maybe we can discuss another aspect of this case? We have an ER Doctor on WS, I am not sure if she needs to be a verified insider to discuss HIPAA Law in regards to the suspect possibly seeking medical care after a crime with us? I am really curious how Doctors would report a suspect...
