I hope they have better video available than that. I would guess that video was edited. To my eyes it did not show the perp exiting or entering the vehicle. I find it curious that initially the news reports were describing the perp as a woman.

Sargent Ritchie stated in the interview that the perp exited and entered the vehicle from the drivers side. It is unknown if there were other occupants. It has been a long time since I have watched the video. I do not remember what door to the vehicle was used.

Yes, this is concerning. Long Creek Youth Development Center is the last known place DY was being held at and he is 17. Certainly LE would notify the public if an accused murder suspect has escaped?
