I "lost" my mother many years ago. She never met my hubby, daughter or our granddaughter. We just returned from SOCAL, on verdict day, after spending a few days with my 91 1/2 yr. old father. He still lives at home, but we are trying to convince him to at least get some help with the house...

I think one of her brother's lives here in Redding. So, she went to Santa Cruz on the 2nd, then to Monterey (30 miles south of Santa Cruz),Salinas and Pasadena. All I can say is, she made good driving time to get to Pasadena around 8:00 PM, especially with 'rush hour traffic....it's hard to...

I read that too and got a creepy feeling, but it didn't stop me from reading other crime books....still love them. When I was a teenager I lived in Santa Barbara with my grandma and during that time period Manson lived on her street about 4 blocks away.

Went to Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo....love that area....got married there 45 years ago.
