The YouTube tribute, fake FB, Twitter, etc....MOO but I thought these were all done by the self proclaimed "victims advocate guru"....he's just a little off his rocker but harmless, IMO. Are people thinking this is the killer posting this stuff?

Just to add to this, I've wondered what agencies helped clear the scene? Does anyone know if the FBI and Rangers were brought in this early in the case? I had thought it wasn't until the next day/within 24 hours but not initial crime scene.

I saw that. It is a terrible ending to a missing persons case but I'm glad her family can have some closure and know the killer is currently in jail. That being said, she went missing/was murdered A few days AFTER MB and her killer is behind bars...kinda frustrating for those hoping for justice...

THis was very helpful, thank you. It reaffirms my opinion that this was not some random vehicle that pulled off the road due to the rain, being lost, adjusting the GPS, etc.

BBM I've thought about this. I don't think it's unprofessionalism, not with so many other agencies helping with every angle. I don't think they need our help. I hope I am wrong but I think they may just have a bunch of circumstantial evidence at this point and are waiting back for crime lab...

They didn't say that but that is the conclusion some of us have drawn. THey really want to talk to this person. I took their "last solid lead" to mean..this is your last chance, we know who you are.

It could also be possible that the 'too far in the distance vehicle' was seen well before 3:50 and was busy "working" on gaining entrance. JMO
