Today is the 23rd anniversary of Douglas Simmons disappearance. I am from NC and remember this case when it was first reported. I wish with all my heart that his family could find out what happened and get some closure.

I am having a hard time wrapping my mind around WW being this, for lack of a better word, stupid. Didn't they know that LE and TBI would be on them like ugly on an ape? I wonder if the motive was to flush out the culprit with statements that would make him think that they had a video record...

I am so disappointed to learn that this was all a "ruse", but am hopeful that the culprit got REALLY nervous when the dash cam video was mentioned!!! So nervous, in fact, that he starts making mistakes that lead LE to Holly!

In watching the video, I got an impression that the investigative team actually know who the culprit is, but is using the "slave trade" as a red herring for their suspicions. JMO

Each time I watch the private interview that Dr. Phil did with MR, I feel like MR was seriously considering unburdening his soul about something when Dr. Phil told him he would help him. JMO

I try to find any and all articles, websites and chats on Amy and read them several times to make sure I am not missing something. Recently I found a site that I had never seen, not a new site, but an interesting one, that was suggesting that there was more significance to Amy leaving the door...

Sorry to bring this up, it has probably been asked many times, but before FindAmy, had it ever been mentioned that it was suspected that Amy left their cabin without shoes? I was just reading on another board about FindAmy mentioning her being shoeless.

In the last few months, reading this board, I have had such conflicting emotions, opinions, etc. Don't know what to think!

A great Christmas gift for me, would be for the truth to come out about Amy, whatever that may be!
