I see what you’re saying, but if you are on the prowl for a profitable target, you see an 84 year old who lives alone in a million $+ home. You’re not going to research how long she lived there, how much the house cost when she bought it. You drive through the neighborhood and say to yourself...
In the Morphew case, much was made of the fact that an unidentified sex offender’s DNA was found on the glovebox on Suzanne Morphew’s vehicle by Barry Morphews defense attorneys. A good refresher for those that didn’t follow that case...
Good points. But, you have to consider how difficult it is to carry an unconscious or deceased person. If you were trying to rescue someone in this condition, you might try to scoop them up to carry them out of danger, but I think if you were trying to get someone out quickly you would almost...
By February 2, Sheriff Panos had stated that home was a crime scene and that homicide detectives had been called in.

He has not confirmed the place of entry. Do they know? I believe they do know. They have to hold some...
I’m attaching a copy of @warp3dwing’s excellent graphic which I rotated 180° to give a perspective of exiting Nancy Guthrie’s front door from inside and a copy of a photo from Fox News Digital which shows the front door of her home.
Entering from the front the door knob is to your right...
Just about where Nancy would be shoved in a vehicle that had pulled in the circular driveway after she was carried down the front steps. Right between the two black vehicles in the first photo you can see the junction of the path and the driveway. The second photo is a pullback of the front of...
Bars have to close at 2:00 am in AZ. Tucson is a college town. Bars would be hopping on a Saturday night. In most college towns or cities where there is a nightlife district, LE usually deploys extra officers at closing time. There always numerous calls for fights, assaults, disorderly...
Thank you, @Nikynoo. 😌
I think the way the victim and perp left the scene has a whole lot to do with the original intent and purpose of why the perp was in the house. I’m going to try sussing out some scenarios to see what clicks.
If it was a planned kidnapping would a perp plan to take someone...
Unfortunately, discussion and debate are becoming lost arts. Some people just seem to have trouble listening to other people’s point of view. “I’m right and you’re wrong.” “It’s my way or the highway”.
It’s too bad people won’t take a minute to try and understand another person’s...
I think if she was being carried over the perpetrator’s shoulder, the blood would fall in the downward pattern you suggested as opposed to if she was being carried in someone’s arms. Someone unconscious or worse would likely be hoisted over the shoulders à la the “fireman’s carry”.
First of all, @Love Never Fails, your opinion does matter here. Debate and discussion are what makes us think outside the box. We don’t need to agree with everyone, but we should all respect each other’s opinion.
I agree with your assessment. She probably was taken from her bed.
Also, I...
Exactly. If she was unconscious or deceased, the weight would feel heavier/more cumbersome. I think originally they may have envisioned walking her out with support from them. If they had been watching her or had an insider giving them information, they probably knew she walked with a cane...
