IIRC, wasn’t Chloe adapted from a shelter in TX? Did Chloe flunk K-9 training? ETA clarification.

I don’t see anything “obvious”. Anyone can find something anywhere and then place it somewhere else.

The texts demonstrate that he is a despicable human being. He decided to make KR the main suspect so he could be the hero. He decided this before even attempting to conduct a professional and ethical investigation.

I don’t think the defense is afraid to call Proctor. I just think they don’t want to get bogged down with the god awful “investigation” he lead. The texts exemplify exactly what type of person he is. What they do want to show is that JOK did not die from being struck by a motor vehicle. They...

Right. They don’t know who, what, when, where, or why, but they can do a dog and pony show and make up a story that fits their ending.

Of course he could have used a crash test dummy like most crash reconstruction experts would. Did anyone catch it when he said it might damage the Lexus? Did he mess up by saying this? Doesn’t that mean that JOK was not hit by this vehicle? It wasn’t damaged. He is implying that his 2mph...

I have admittedly skipped over some of the very dry parts of this testimony. Do we know if the high speed reverse could be the wheels spinning on the icy road?

Ah, Matt. Always has the best advice. “Tell them the guy never went in the house.” Pretty good with IT solutions, too.

My thoughts are that there are a lot of other hard things to fall backwards on besides cold ground. Would concrete basements be hard? They may also be cold. IIRC There was no dirt or grass found in JOK’s head injuries.

Cape traffic is always bad, but on a holiday weekend it is 10 times worse. The lucky ones get on the road early on Friday to beat the rush. The really lucky ones don’t have to work on Thursday. I just don’t get a 5 day vacation in the middle of the trial.

Plow drivers routinely scan the sides of the road to make sure there are no objects which their plows might inadvertently hit.
