Thanks for that info - makes you wonder who in those 8 days must have seen her and realized she was vulnerable. Wonder how many other swimming locations are like this in New England - remote, no surveillance, employing a lone female lifeguard; and how busy are they in early season when weather...

Please refresh my memory - how many days had Molly been working at Commin's Pond?

Me too - and adding, I feel like we don't have all the facts; like we are not being told all the background details etc. This has happened with cases I've followed here and then see a show of TV about it and find there are details I never knew about or where mentioned here...

TN - Karen Swift, 44, murdered, Dyersburg, 30 Oct 2011 *husband charged in 2022* #4

Wow what a turn of events I see coming back to this thread after being way for a few years. Complicated to say the least, as we approach the 8-year anniversary. Good work to all here for the updates, thanks!

I see familiar DNA was used to solve the Allison Feldman murder. Might be a new tool to use for old cases, if DNA can be found..

I was thinking of the McStay murders where their vehicle was left by the Mexican border as a ruse..

Sorry if this has been answered, I'm looking for a way to search just this thread to see if any DNA been found and has it all been tested? Seems DNS is the key to finding how did this.

Wow, been away for a few years from WS, coming back sadly surprised to see she's not been found. Nice, though, to see EMI still is here keeping her memory alive.

Been away from websleths for a few years - back to find (sadly) nothing much new Tiffany. It's a tough case - no real crime scene and I wonder about the sighting of her car going to the beach. Was it ever determined if it was her in the car, or even a woman driving? Don't know why, but I get a...

Thinking more about the mystery man Joan was with... forget all I mentioned before about him getting off before Joan did, and the driver then committing the crime.. Focus on the mystery man instead - and of the way Joan acted with him. She's letting him be in charge, no? She acting like she...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_laws_in_Michigan Interesting - appears there would be no registration if a shotgun were purchased... might explain why that was used, especially if she knew her killer.. Hope LE checks local gun shops to see if sales remembers anyone who purchased a shotgun...

Sorry, Google mapping it (11000 block of Fish Lake Road) it is very rural. https://www.google.com/maps/place/Fish+Lake+Rd,+Holly,+MI+48442/@42.740888,-83.6484329,642m/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x882363d9b70f6a1d:0xc3a4db507e017aa8!8m2!3d42.7408841!4d-83.6462389

Oh, one last thought... with all the advances in touch and familial DNA wonder if anything that been found could be tested... though, I bet it' all been handled too much..
